Johnny Redd and Nick Arcade are individuals. A team is defined as a group of individuals (usually with complimentary skills) linked together for a common purpose. State Champs is a team in every sense. Their "2 ILL Cats In A Ford Truck" Mixtape served as a warm-up of sorts this trilogy of projects will serve as a more formal introduction of the duo.
What does "Clear Eyes" stand for? The "Clear Eyes" (Ep) will serve as a platform for the 'Champs' to clear the air on a few topics. There's a joint for those who have been 'Jockin' Their Style'....for those who see them as just a local act 'Mapquest'. An anthem for the procrastinators afraid to chase their dreams 'Push It Yourself'. A tribute to a lost friend 'Missin' You' and a joint for the ladies 'Nobody' which serves as a bridge sonically to the next project "Full Hearts."
